Every drawings is done by hand using a digital pencil on tablet. That means all the content, marks, gestures, tones are achieved by using brush or pen strokes exactly the same way they would be made on canvas or paper. This focus is what makes these portraits special. Since the days of the Renaissance and the Dutch masters new technology has always come hand in hand with fine-art and making but the challenge today is to retain the, human sensitivity and critical choices if we want to make something that can not only defy AI but overcome the tide wave of machine made images were beginning to encounter.

Each drawing takes between 6 and 12 hours drawing time to complete (this may be between 2-10 days. Finished works will be emailed and optional printed version sent to anywhere in the world for you to see, share and print at any time.

Option to order prints: Sent 1st class from our base in Glasgow. Due to shipping limitations we can only offer advice on mounting and framing of printed artworks.
